Client Site FAQ
If you do not see the answer to your question here, please mail us at info@hirservices.com.
1. What is the client site?
If it makes sense, HIR configures a private area on the website to manage your project
and share work product. To take a tour, click on the Client Login and use 'demo' for both
the User Name and Password.
2. Lost password or user name
3. What happens at the end of the project?
Upon request, we can download your private pages to a CD that will navigate in any
web browser. That means you can still find things just like they were on the web.
4. How long do I get to keep my private pages?
This will vary, but usually the private pages stay accessible for a few months following
your project in case you need to lookup something.
5. I like the private pages, can I keep them forever?
Yes! If interested in keeping them, we will help you setup your own hosting account
that will give you 100% control and ownership of your online information.
6. How secure is the private site?
Smart question. It is a given that almost any online data source is at risk from
determined hackers including these private pages. However, the vast majority of data
breaches result from end-user ID and password information ending up in the worng hands.
So be sure to keep your login information secure and change it occasionally.
The website is hosted within Amazon's AWS Service, which provides a massive infrastructure
managed by top professionals in the field. For more detailed and complete information on
the AWS data center and security please visit AWS Overview of Security Processes.
7. How many users can I have setup?
Hundreds.....but the main challenge is for you to keep track of that many users.
So while users can be given restricted access, you want to limit the number of
people involved on your project to keep information more secure. We can also setup
a generic general public user ID and password if you need to provide partial access
to a group of stakeholders or the general public.
